Happy Valentine's Day!

The other day I was shopping for a Valentine's Day card for Jesse and I was really struggling to find one that said what I was feeling. All the cards are so mushy and lovey-dovey and they never seem to say what I'm feeling, so this is my own version of a Valentine's card for Jesse:

Thank you for making my laugh until I cry and my stomach hurts...no one can make me laugh like you.

Thank you for always being there for me...you're the first person I want to celebrate with when I have good news to share and the first person I want to comfort me when I have bad news to share.

Thank you for complimenting me so perfectly...whenever I'm upset about something you seem to have it all together and you can be perfectly calm about the situation and then whenever you're upset about something I somehow have it all together and I am calm about the situation.

Thank you for being such an awesome father...I love to watch you and Logan interact...you make him laugh and you make him feel safe and loved (I can see it in his face) and that's exactly what a father should do for his son.

Thank you for being a person I can admire and respect...you have so many qualities that I admire and respect...passion, loyalty, strong work ethic, responsibility and faith.

Thank you for enjoying the simple things in life with me...sitting on the couch eating junk food and watching TV or a movie with me or chatting and laughing in bed before we fall asleep at night...those are some of my favorite moments.

Thank you for being my best friend...you have been my best friend from the moment we started dating and you will continue to be my best friend for the rest of my life.I love you Jesse!
